Welcome to Our New Residents, October 2023

The Urology Health Services Research Division is pleased to announce the newest residents joining us for their research rotation will be Mitchell Alameddine and Oluwaseun Orikogbo!

Mitch is from Northville, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan as an undergraduate, where he studied Biomolecular Science. He then remained at Michigan where he completed his medical degree. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, DIY home projects, spending time with friends & family, and following Detroit sports.

Oluwaseun ("Seun") was born in Nigeria and was raised in various states in the US. Seun went to the University of Virginia for her undergraduate degree where she obtained a B.A. in Psychology. Her experiences in college began to shape her interest in global health. Prior to attending medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Seun moved to Madison, WI where she worked as a Project Manager for Epic Systems Corporation. While at UPSOM, Seun traveled to Ghana and conducted basic science research studying acute kidney injury in patients with Sickle Cell Disease. She also served as the Class of 2020 Class Vice President, worked on the admissions committee, and involved herself in various basic science and clinical research projects. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching Netflix, traveling, and going on adventures!

We are excited to have them both join the team and can't wait to see what the next months hold!
